The London School of Business & Finance (LSBF), the first institution in London, UK, to provide tuition for the International Certificate in Financial English (ICFE), has achieved an 80% pass rate from its first group of students.
The Cambridge ICFE tests the ability of candidates to understand written and spoken English in a number of realistic contexts that accountancy professionals are likely to encounter in their daily working lives. The exam consists of four papers - Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking - which are designed to provide a comprehensive approach to developing financial English skills.
Richard Hunt, LSBF course director, commented: 'I would like to congratulate our first set of ICFE students on their superb performance in these challenging exams. The hard work that they have put into the programme shows how valuable it is to them.'
